It has been a long time since i am writing any form of blog. It has been more than a year i have written any blog as can be seen in the posts history.
But as part of 2014 resolution; i plan to revive this old habit of mine.
I am sure many of you would agree that some of our hobbies get lost in the pursuit of our busy routine work and we tend to feel that we are not finding any time for such interesting and creative hobbies of ours. As one of my boss would always say "we need to allocate the time for such activities and no body else would do that for us."
So what are your plans for the year 2014.... I am sure most of you have some interesting plans.
See whether these 5 pointer help you in planning your year 2014.
1) Work smartly and not just hard work
See avenues where you can reduce your effort and still produce the results expected from you. Delegate the things which someone can do for you. Prioritize the things which you do: Important and urgent being your first; important but not urgent being your second. Delegate urgent but not important and least prioritize the not important nor urgent activities. Avoid procrastination. If you see something is getting delayed due to you not able to make a decision... take help from sub-ordinates and manager but ensure that there is no stretching on time.
2) Make time for your hobbies
It is our hobbies which rejuvenate us from the strenuous work routine. So making time for the hobbies is equally important for us to succeed. Indulge in the hobbies which make you feel happy.
3) Enjoy every moment of the life
Take every activity of life as a game event and enjoy playing it to the best of your abilities. I am inspired by the movie "Life is beautiful" and would like to lead my life similarly. May be you might also agree that life becomes simple and easier if every event and activity we do are considered as part of some part of the game. Lead life as defined by the phrase "Carpe diem" i.e. "Seize the day."
4) Spend quality time with family and friends
Work is important and so is family and friends. So making time to reach them regularly is equally important part of the life.
5) Plan your holidays in advance
Do not hesitate to take your leaves to plan your holidays with family and friends. But ensure that the work is not also affected. Hence plan your holidays in advance.
All the best to you all... for the year 2014 and believe that the year will be very good for all of us.
